The herbs I write about were just experiments, I just started studying phytotherapy for fun, but none of them were for healing the gut.
The one herbal substance that could have helped was the Linden extract. It helps digestion, so the food that comes into your gut is softer, therefore not so damaging for your gut lining.
Then there is the L-glutamin, not herbal though, but I think that helped a lot — it is also just an extract, in a powder form, and every gut healing diet will mention it, because fitness guys use it to rebuild muscle tissue. So it happens that it rebuild gut lining too.
But the best thing for your gut is meat (see the Mikhaila diet at the end).
